The Notebook
This movie from 2004 is one of the most powerful love movies I have ever seen and it’s called The Notebook. It’s based on a book by Nicholas Sparks that he wrote in 1996. The story is set in 1932 and two teenagers fall in love, they spend an amazing summer together in a small American town. The main characters Allie and Noah are separated however because Noah has to go to war. He sends her a letter every day, but Allie’s mother hide’s the letters. Allie is waiting for his letters for years, but they never come. She finally lets go decides to get engaged to Lon. He comes back from the war and finds out the love of his life is getting married to someone else. He decides to restore his dad’s old house to the dream house Allie always wanted. It’s in the paper and Allie, still not forgotten about Noah, decides to visit him, but will she choose Noah or Lon?
